Job Description:1. Manage the private label portfolio to meet Private Label Targets against AOP / OP. Formulate a plan against the AOP / OP and define the product mix. Plan a category wise flow of merchandise to meet AOP/OP nos. Review sales performance against the AOP /OP and take necessary action for improvement. Define brand portfolio, positioning and USP. Drive sales to meet defined targets.

2. Plan New Product Development and Buying for existing Categories. Understand the member behaviour and needs. Track competition for changes in offering and promotion programmes. Identify gaps to fulfil customer needs and gauge a price the customer is willing to pay. Develop packaging / products and take legal approvals where ever required. Ensure 100 % compliance of all Indian rules with regard to product specification, packaging norms, sizing norms etc. Align with buying team on product plan. Ensure adequate buying for every season.

3. Brand Building / Communication with Members to drive brand loyalty. Develop and implement suitable signage across categories. Provide training to store associates on Private label and the new upcoming products. Implement VM practises at the stores. Ensure suitable price / product communication to the customer.

  • Identifying and Communicating Business Goals and Objectives
  • Manage Financials Performance:
    • Sales
    • Margin
    • Gross Profit
    • Inventory control (DOH, SKU Count, In stock levels and turns)
    • Allowances
    • Space selling

    • Pricings
    • Negotiations
     
  • Identifying and Addressing improvement opportunities
  • Supervision and Development of Associates by hiring and training
